Yamhill County Sheriffs office arrest 5 for DUI over the holidays

Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies arrested five motorists for driving under the influence of intoxicants between 12/13/2018 and 12/22/18. Of the five arrests, three suspects were taken into custody after being involved in motor vehicle crashes.

Maxime De Lavenne, 40 of McMinnville was cited to appear for DUII as a result of a single vehicle crash that occurred in the 13500 block of SW Masonville Road in rural McMinnville.

Kenneth Eggers, 71, of Dayton was arrested and lodged at YCCF for DUII after been contacted asleep in his car near 4th and Ferry Street in the City of Dayton.

Matthew Hanson, 51, of Amity was lodged at YCCF on charges of DUII after being called in as a drunk driver in the City of Amity.

Juan Cazares Cazares, 21, of Dundee was cited of DUII after a crash in the 16900 block of NE Mountain Home Road in rural Newberg. He was cited to appear at the hospital where he was being treated for injuries resulting from the crash.

Lloyd Williamson was arrested after he drove off the road in the 13400 block of NW Baker Creek Road. He was cited to appear in court.

“The inclement weather and holiday season creates a dangerous situation for those who choose to drink and drive.” said Sheriff Tim Svenson. “Please plan ahead when celebrating and utilize designated drivers. We want the remainder of the holiday season to be safe for everyone.”
